An Introduction to Centering Prayer
Starting Saturday, February 28, 2026, 8:30AM - 12:30PM in Debin Hall plus four follow up Practice Sessions
Do you feel pulled in all directions?
Have you yearned for more depth in your spiritual journey?
Do you wish to ‘do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly’ with God?
Centering Prayer may be for you!
Centering Prayer is a receptive method of Christian silent prayer which deepens our relationship with God--a prayer in which we can experience God’s presence within us, closer than breathing, closer than thinking, closer than consciousness itself.
Come join us for a morning focused on the ancient Christian practice of Centering Prayer. Mary Williams from the Contemplative Outreach of North San Diego will present this prayer form and lead us in practice together both during the retreat and after the retreat with four follow-up practice sessions on Zoom during Lent.
Coffee and morning refreshments will be provided.
