The Journey of Grief
Saturday, April 25, 2026, 9:00AM-1:30PM
“To be human is to be a griever for all kinds of losses.” (All Our Losses, All Our Griefs, Mitchell and Anderson)
The journey of grief is an inevitability for each one of us. If that is so, how do we understand the journey of grief? How do we care for others walking its path? How do we understand our own grief? Where can we find God in our mourning? In our grief?
The ministries of Discipleship, Care, and Deacons are partnering together to welcome you into this sacred space. We hope that this retreat day will help to inform you, equip you, and care for you as you come alongside those who are grieving. And, if you are in the pangs of loss, we hope that you will find this to be a place of understanding and compassion as you seek to understand more about your own journey.
