Weekly Prayer Focus–Rest for Those Who Serve

77
This advent season has been such a special time for our church family. Even before this time, so many special activities help us prepare for the celebration of the birth of our Lord, even though many of them have been virtual. Lisa, Aaron, our worship team and the choir have been champions to present our music in the virtual format. Our pastors, the office staff, and the many volunteers that make each and every day and activity happen have been working extra hard. Rest is important to our spiritual walk with the Lord, so let us take this time to keep them in our minds and hearts.
Let us pray for:
- Relaxation in mind, spirit and body over the next few weeks for these dedicated hard workers.
- Renewal of energy to perform the tasks that make our church community so special.
- Fresh ideas and inspirations to start the new year with even more strength and focus.
Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you. 2 Corinthians 13:11
He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, Titus 3:5
