Weekly Prayer Focus—Graduating High School Seniors
High School Graduation marks a remarkable page in the book of a young person’s life. Not only the culmination of many years of school, but a coming-of-age. Each student’s path will vary… continued education, work, volunteering… all will be seeking to write the next chapter in their lives. There have been so many adjustments , compromises, and changes during this Corona Virus Pandemic, but our graduating seniors have worked hard, stood firm, and are ready to move on to their next phase of life.
For parents, there will be feelings of great pride, joy and thankfulness in their son or daughter and their achievements. Mixed emotions of what the future may bring as their precious one spreads their wings, leaves the nest and finds a life independent of them.
Let us pray…
- That God will stand beside our graduates and their parents, and continue to be with them as they head into this new time in their lives.
- That God’s word of life continues to shape their thoughts, build their strength, and fill their hearts .
- That our students continue to feel His presence and ask His guidance and discernment as they face complicated decisions, and continue to grow into the Christian you desire them to be.
