Weekly Prayer Focus—Easter Sunday

Write by:

HE IS RISEN! He is risen indeed!

This past week we focused on Christ’s crucifixion and the tremendous suffering he endured for us, taking our sins to the cross. The significance of Easter is Christ’s triumph over death, his resurection, which guarantees eternal life to all who believe in him. The veil of darkness transformed to the brightest light.

Let us pray:
• Remembering that Christ’s suffering and sacrifice were for us;
• Knowing that Christ’s death was not meaningless;
• Lifting our hearts the Lord in gratitude for our redemption and new birth.

“He is not here; HE IS RISEN, just as He said.” Matt 28:6

“And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.” 1 Cor 15:17 (NIV)

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” 1 Peter 1:3
