Start your summer off right by joining us for an all-church spiritual formation retreat on Saturday, June 10th from 9:30AM-1:30PM.
SBPC’s June retreat will focus on the practice of hospitality. Oftentimes, the idea of hospitality in the church evokes images of greeting visitors, hosting birthday parties or having friends or family over for a Super Bowl party. Yes-Hospitality can be those things but it is also so much more! The practice of hospitality happens in ordinary ways and in grand gestures and church-wide commitments. Hospitality makes room, shares, welcomes, opens, and invites.
Join us as we discover hospitality in new and familiar ways through biblical texts, contemporary issues, and daily and communal practices.
Lunch will be provided.
