Kingdom Builder Foundation – Fall Update

Write by:

Our mission at Kingdom Builder Foundation is to support the building of God’s Kingdom by providing grants to Christ-centered missions through legacy gifts of members and friends of Solana Beach Presbyterian Church.

We have recently completed our fall granting process and are thrilled to share that we were able to grant $48,000 bringing our total granting to $323,000 for 2020. It’s been a tough year for all of us, but our Foundation has continued to fulfill its mission through the generosity of our donors and the hard work of our board of directors.

The organizations which received funding are:

  • Casa de Amistad: Expand current online tutoring program by hiring “hosts”, allowing casa to serve more students.
  • Foundation Matthew: Technology support: client web intake/sign in and website support.
  • North County Immigration & Citizenship Center: Two year grant for capacity-building via a legal case management system.
  • One Collective: Purchase of a vehicle to transport disabled children; pick up medical supplies; and deliver eggs.
  • Servant Project International: Micro-enterprise for women/widows to produce sustainable income once given goats.
  • Urban Youth Collaborative: Grocery gift cards for students and their families.
  • Young Life – East County: Half of required training costs for two leaders of color.
