We strive to plan, implement and maintain ministry opportunities in ways encouraging spiritual and educational growth, mental and physical wellness, while providing fellowship and support to enrich the lives of mature adults in the church and community.
To these ends, a variety of programs and activities are offered through the Solana Beach Community Senior Center. Please visit our Encore Newsletter for this month’s activities. The Senior Center is an outreach program, open to seniors regardless of church affiliation, race, sex or city of residence.
The Monday Morning Bible Study is combining with the Son Seekers Bible Study that meets on Sunday mornings from 8:30 to 9:45 in Room 15.
All ages are welcome to join this friendly group as they dig deep into scripture. This Fall we will be studying the Book of Isaiah. Bring your Bible. We will provide study guides.
Do you play an instrument? The “Sunday School Band” welcomes you to join them as they accompany hymn singing.
So join us at 8:30 for refreshments, fellowship, and singing followed by the Bible study at 8:45.
The Senior Center is open to everyone and you do not have to be a church member or live in the city of Solana Beach.
We have many programs, activities and services available. Wednesdays are big days at the Senior Center. We offer many classes, discussion groups, games, entertainment, and a fabulous lunch. Please call 858-509-2587 for our current Encore Newsletter or an update on upcoming programs. Lunch reservations are needed if you plan to have lunch with us.
